I joined smok in 2015, after spending my previous years working on conservation and new build projects in London  and on a large commercial scheme in Spain, at the end of which I almost liked food courts.
I have a diverse background, having studied and worked in Italy, Spain and the UK. I enjoy being involved in different types of projects and meeting a variety of people. For many years, in Italy, I was the technical director of an annual festival of theatre and Circus.
What I find interesting at smok is the problem-solving approach and the attitude of the team, all women when I joined, except Clive of course, we share our knowledge and our problems with the same involvement.
I love my profession, the fun of shaping spaces and the challenges of building them and meeting client expectations on budget and on time. I’m a curious person and I’m interested in people so, I think listening should count as a proper design stage.
